HAWKER
Hawkers, peddlers, and solicitors of all forms abound in the Lost Universe, specifically aboard high-traffic infrastructure where they can reach a large audience.  These petty retailers, often trading between stops straight from the hold of a shuttle or tug, offer many differing services and wares, ranging from simple commodities to geological scan reports obtained from illegal survey probes. Of course, by virtue of the trade, it is important to remember that not all of these conniving commercial connoisseurs are as legitimate as they may appear.


SUPPLIER
Suppliers are provisional freight captains and their crews overseeing the logistics of essential goods and services between territories of the Resistance.  They are integral to ensuring the economic and political integrity of the Inner Andromeda Alliance, and are certain to be well-protected by local armed forces when operating in orbit.  While largely independent, suppliers are known to request assistance from other capable spacefarers when local cartage demands exceed their logistical capabilities or are otherwise impractical to undertake.


IAA FLEET MARSHAL
A phase IV warship under the authority of a grand admiral and the warrant of Ezekiel Malkali himself, who has made it their duty to oversee the strategic scope of fleet operations while ensuring the defense of Alliance homelands, and is not accountable to any governing body


IAA PATROL QUARTERMASTER
A phase III warship under the authority of a flag officer of the Inner Andromeda Alliance, who is tasked with the enforcement of orbital security, customs, and flotilla coordination in a particular territory, and is accountable only to those of grand admiral ranking


IAA WATCHGUARD
A phase II warship under the authority of a senior officer of the Inner Andromeda Alliance, who patrols a particular territory to dissuade acts of aggression against local assets of the Resistance, and is accountable to the local patrol quartermaster or flag officer of highest seniority





RENEGADE BLOCKADE CRUISER
An independent phase III warship once under the authority of a senior officer of the TECORA Task Force, who has either been ousted through mutiny or willingly defected with ship and company to a position of Resistance sympathy, but is not legally accountable to, or obliged to support, any governing body—often in favour of its own political and financial interests—and has taken the liberty of vastly improving its combat proficiency without adhering to former military standards


MERCENARY CRUISER
An independent, enterprising phase II warship or armed merchant under the authority of a private captain and company, who avail themselves to the interests of the highest bidder, and are wont to such particularly unorthodox methods of guerrilla warfare as breaching, ransom, sabotage, smuggling, and myriad other high risk vocations to the satisfaction of a wealthy employ





TECORA ADMIRALTY FLAGSHIP
A phase IV warship under the authority of a task force admiral, who exercises complete authority over the strategic scope of fleet operations and embodies the sovereign power of the State Admiralty, and is thus accountable only to the heads of state


TECORA FLOTILLA LEADER
A phase III warship under the authority of a flag officer of the TECORA Task Force, who is commissioned to oversee orbital security, customs, and flotilla coordination in a particular territory, and is accountable only to the State Admiralty


TECORA BLOCKADE CRUISER
A phase II warship under the authority of a senior officer of the TECORA Task Force, who patrols a particular territory to dissuade acts of aggression of any kind and ultimately prevent unauthorized breaching of regulated space, and is accountable to the local flotilla commander or flag officer of highest seniority
